In my advanced photojournalism class, we explore new technologies and methods of reaching a new audience.
Two of this semester’s students applied those lessons to their project about mental health and online coping mechanisms like dating, shopping and gaming.
They then “collaborated” with a machine learning model that created beautiful surrealist interpretations of their work.
The images were then sold as NFTs. It raised more than SGD100 in a week for a mental health charity.
